We have over 10 years experience of facilitating Coaching skills development programmes, including ILM accredited qualifications, and at University post-graduate and masters level. Over 600 people have attended one of our coaching workshops.
Marie is an External Verifier with ILM for their suite of Coaching qualifications.
We deliver a range of coaching skills programmes, to meet the needs of senior leaders, managers, HR staff, peer coaches and those interested in an accredited coaching qualification. We can also offer bespoke in-house coaching and mentoring skills development programmes and support in establishing internal coaching networks and developing a coaching culture.
Developing Coaching Skills One Day Workshop
A highly practical introduction to coaching, covering the key coaching communication skills and introducing a model for coaching, that allows participants to apply their coaching techniques formally and informally in a wide range of workplace situations, and quickly see the benefits.
Coaching Skills For Managers
Managers who adopt a coaching style of management are able to develop the skills of their teams, encourage staff to take responsibility and really engage with their work, ultimately enhancing the team’s performance. In this VUCA world of uncertainty and change, managers with coaching skills are able to help their teams to navigate transition, embrace courageous conversations and by looking forwards, not backwards, identify new solutions.
This tried and tested programme is designed to equip managers with a solution focused approach to coaching and offers practical tools and techniques that managers can quickly grasp and use to get real results in the workplace, and beyond. We know that changing behaviours and practices takes time and is difficult: this 3 day programme is designed to give participants the time and support they need to develop and embed new skills, behaviours and attitudes.
Highly experiential, the programme starts with two days in the classroom, a week apart, followed by time to practice, transfer learning into the workplace and experience your own 1-1 coaching session. It concludes with a further 1 day workshop exploring more advanced techniques.
Participants have the additional option of completing a level 3 ILM Award in Coaching.
Accredited Coaching Programme: ILM Level 5 Certificate
This programme offers participants a nationally recognised level 5 coaching qualification and is ideal for managers or HR / OD professionals with significant responsibility for coaching and mentoring as part of their work role; or for aspiring coaches who wish to acquire a professional coaching qualification.
Participants will develop a sound understanding of coaching and mentoring in the workplace and develop their abilities as confident, well-practised coaches and mentors.
The qualification consists of three units:
Understanding the skills, principles and practice of effective coaching and mentoring within an organisational context
Undertaking an extended period of effective coaching or mentoring within an organisational context
Reviewing own ability as a coach or mentor within an organisational context
6 days of highly experiential workshops, incorporating supervised peer coaching
18 hours of workplace coaching practice and reflection
Regular 1-1 and peer coaching supervision
ILM portfolio guidance and ongoing tutorial support & feedback.
Developing a Coaching Culture
We won an Irish National Training Award for Coaching for our work at Ulster University providing executive coaching, delivering coaching skills training, establishing an internal coaching and mentoring service, and developing an internal coaching culture.
We have experienced developing and embedding a coaching culture firsthand, and know the hurdles and barriers that organisations can face.
