Coaching Skills For Managers
Managers who adopt a coaching style of management are able to develop the skills of their teams, encourage staff to take responsibility and really engage with their work, ultimately enhancing the team’s performance. In this VUCA world of uncertainty and change, managers with coaching skills are able to help their teams to navigate transition, embrace courageous conversations and by looking forwards, not backwards, identify new solutions.
This tried and tested programme is designed to equip managers with a solution focused approach to coaching and offers practical tools and techniques that managers can quickly grasp and use to get real results in the workplace, and beyond. We know that changing behaviours and practices takes time and is difficult: this 3 day programme is designed to give participants the time and support they need to develop and embed new skills, behaviours and attitudes.
Highly experiential, the programme starts with two days in the classroom, followed by time to practice, transfer learning into the workplace and experience your own 1-1 coaching session. It concludes with a further 1 day workshop exploring more advanced techniques.
Participants have the additional option of completing a level 3 ILM Award in Coaching.
